UPDATE 3:38 p.m. --
Members of the Northern Santa Barbara County United Way delivered 379,500 masks to multiple agencies throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties Friday.
This included the Salvation Army, schools and local homeless organizations.
"Fed Ex came out this morning. They loaded up the biggest tractor trailer I’ve ever seen with these masks, 379,500 of them just in time so that we can get them in the hands of folks as our schools are about to open," said CEO of the Northern Santa Barbara County of the United Way Eddie Taylor. "Were excited that this mask distribution is going help kids stay safe when we get them back in school."
